Oatman, Arizona is an authentic old western town with burros roaming the streets and gunfights staged on weekends. Please do not feed the burros carrots. Do not bring your dogs around the burros, they are prone to attacking them because they mistake them for a coyote. Do not stop your car along the road (Route 66, or any road, really) to feed the burros. It causes accidents with the animals.
