New Jersey is our next stop. Mom's got a gig in ATLANTIC CITY on Friday -- I guess that's the big time, sorta. But she doesn't want us to stay there; I think she's afraid one of us will gamble away the bus in a poker game or something. So Irene's booked us in this hotel out closer to the Parkway. Ned says he's been there before -- they've got some good parks and stuff nearby. Good thing for us -- I think we all need to stretch our legs. Plus I've been practicing my free throws, and I think I'm ready to blast Jack and Clu right off the court. As long as the NBA doesn't have a height requirement, I'm a shoo-in!!
Or maybe from Tibet? We met a kid named James in that town outside of Atlantic City. He turned out to be my first time being TOTALLY WRONG about what was going on (suddenly I realize how easy it is to talk so loud you can't hear anything). Well, wrong about paranormal stuff, anyway. After something yanked me out of the way of a car that was about to hit me, I immediately assumed James must have PK -- psychokinesis -- even though he told me himself it wasn't him that had done it. It wasn't till I discovered this giant handprint bruise on my arm that I dug a little deeper and found out about tulpas. That's the Tibet part, Tibetan Buddhist mysticism to be exact; they have a belief that with enough concentrated thought, you can create an ACTUAL LIVING BEING. This woman named Alexandra David-NŽel was the first Westerner to do it. I guess James just went a little farther than any normal kid in making up an imaginary friend, and the whole thing got out of control. I think James is working on getting rid of the thing now. I hope we'll be hearing from him about how it's going.
